Terms and Conditions

All of our products are handmade in small batches and packaged in house. Therefore, product appearance may slightly vary from order to order. All of our products are subject to stock number and we cannot guarantee item availability. We manage all inventory online. In the unlikely event your order does not match our inventory we will contact you immediately to discuss updating the order or issuing a full refund.

Steamboat Soap Company is not a medical or healthcare company. None of our products are intended to diagnose, treat, or cure; nor are they evaluated by the FDA and are intended for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.  Soap is safe for minimal eye contact but will cause burning. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if burning continues after a few minutes.

The information in the description of our products pertains to the properties of individual ingredients used in the product listed. Our soap is all natural and vegan. Some products contain nuts. Cross contamination is prevented as much as possible but is possible. In case of severe nut allergies we recommend you do not use our products. We are not liable for any customer medical or allergy claims against our products. It is the responsibility of the consumer to read the ingredients list and understand how their body reacts to each ingredient. We recommend testing our product on a small non-sensitive skin area such as your arm before fully lathering  if unsure.

Our products contain oils that may make shower or bath tub surfaces slippery. Use precaution when stepping onto any surface that has been used with our soaps. We are not liable for any injuries due to slipping or falling allegedly caused by our products.

In the event that your card payments are unauthorized, you will receive a notification making you aware. Orders will only be processed once full payment has been made. All payment must be in U.S. dollar. We are not liable for any information errors or website downtime.

We reserve the right to refuse any order. We may also, in our sole judgement, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, household, or order. These restrictions may be made by the same customer account, payment, or orders that use the same name and/or billing address. We reserve the right to limit, prohibit or cancel orders that, in our sole discretion, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

At this time, Steamboat Soap Company only ships to addresses within the United States. Our lead time on shipping is typically 3-5 business days. Due to location, shipments may be delayed unexpectedly due to weather. Orders may not be canceled/refunded for any delay in shipping. 

Any refund requests needs to be made within 30 days of purchase. Free shipping is a discount. Therefore, all items returned under free shipping can be charged a shipping fee in the amount set in the sole discretion of Steamboat Soap Company. The shipping charge will be deducted from the refund issued to the customer.

We are not liable for any packages after they leave our facility. However, if a claim is made that a package has been damaged, lost or stolen, a refund or exchange may be issued under our sole judgement once the claim has been investigated. 

If you have received your parcel and it is damaged you will need to contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We handle damage claims on a case by case basis, Please contact us with photos of your damaged items. No refund or exchange is guaranteed. 

We reserve the right to review and remove any and all reviews or communication with our company. Unlawful behavior, hate speech, bullying, promotions, spam, etc. will be removed and the user will be blocked from further communication at our sole discretion. 

We reserve the right to disable or modify any user accounts at our sole discretion.

Items purchased online are for personal use and are strictly not for resale. If you wish to sell our products then please send us an email.
